Tiji Festival

Dating back to the 15th century, Tiji tells the story of Dorje Jono’s triumph over a demon that brought drought to Mustang. Monks in elaborate masks perform sacred cham dances in Lo Manthang, preserving this ancient ritual against a dramatic Himalayan backdrop.
