Festival highlights include traditional offerings, animal parades and contests. Yaks, tibetan mastiffs and horses are adorned festively, and colourfully. There are mask dances, folk songs, and traditional dances. The locals set up stalls to display and sell woven items, yak milk product, medicinal herbs and local crafts.
